Here are 5 ways to you can get the most from your Cryostar Treatment:

Sleep – Get those zzzz’s

Your body repairs and heals itself when you are sleeping. Scientific studies have shown repeatedly that getting a good 7/8 hours sleep a night has massive impacts on your health, both mental and physical. Sleep allows your body to support the lymphatic process of removing toxins and regenerating cells. One effect of not getting enough sleep is on your hormones, specifically the ones that control how hungry you feel. We encourage supporting your treatments with healthy eating following Cryostar treatments to positively impact your results.

Cut the processed food

We don’t suggest going cold turkey on your favourite afternoon snack or Friday night takeaways. Try crowding out the bad foods instead. One way you can do this is to think of all the food you like that is good for you, or maybe even some you don’t love but can tolerate and find ways to incorporate that into your meals to boost the nutritional value of what you already eat each day. Could you add a teaspoon of chia or flax seeds to your porridge or morning smoothie? Mix some spinach or extra peas in with your homemade curry? Or pick a green veg that you like (spring greens with a tiny bit of butter or some broccoli with soy sauce?) and eat it as a starter before dinner. The more you can add nutritional food in your normal day to day life you’ll start to crowd out the processed food and find yourself craving the carbs slightly less.

Water Water Water

It cannot be stressed enough how important drinking water is, to not only the results of your Cryostar® Treatments but your overall health. The Huffington Post found “A survey of 2,000 consumers by drinks brand Aqua Pura found that only 6% of the UK is drinking the recommended amount of water per day.”

Without it, your lymphatic system cannot flush the debris through. Keeping track of what you drink daily could not be easier with so many water bottles with trackers on the market. Fill this up in the morning and you can see how your water drinking progresses throughout the day.

Dry Brushing

Dry Brushing works wonders for your Cryostar® results due to the positive effect on blood circulation. We love this brush from Dr Barbara or a more affordable option is the boots botanics exfoliating brush. Done in the correct way, dry brushing will stimulate the lymphatic system boosting the release of toxins and debris. Dry brushing also has other benefits such as exfoliation of the skin and stimulation of the nervous system, making you feel good, like after a nice massage.


Movement heals the body. Sitting at our desks or driving for hours on end is not good for the lymphatic system. To keep things moving on the inside we need to move our bodies.
